Having worked in agencies for years I know this – soul destroying, depressing and incredibly cynical or deluded. Hence why I don’t work in that industry anymore. But if you need proof, check out Sharp Suits, an Irish exhibition where designers taking actual phrases and turning them into posters. A creative act for such uncreative and amazingly unimaginative and surprisingly visually blind industry.
And yes I’ve had most of these, inc the Lorem Ipsum ‘Can we have it in English?’ and can’t you just spin it round/magically make an image high quality in Photoshop requests. Oh and one client wanted me to make Hitler humorous…
