As part of making sure the nearly 3,600 (!!) posts here all have featured images, I asked A1 (sorry AI, but I’ve taken to calling it that after Bob Mortimer said ‘Preparing for A1 To Take Over’ on WILTY) that question via the ‘retrofuturist’ preset, and this is the results, via the view of the future from science fiction of a past era.
Which given recent events, the previous positive view of the future is FAR more reliable that the wonky dystopian one we have now!
It’s epic, I’ll give it that. And no real-life audiences, so that’s realistic (or they all died in the Great Unwashed Telephone/Zombie Cat plague of 2059 and the DJ is the last person alive playing Brand New Key on repeat)
And finally, I went the other way – here’s what a 1600’s (pirate) and Celtic h4x0r who could be also a laptop DJ would look like:
(And before anyone snarks “…and no women apparently” I had to stop Artificial Intelligence from putting scantily clad/’pretty’ girls in my pieces, it’s not the sort of representation you or I want! Not worked out a way of including all genders (and none) without including the catalogue model shots.
And it’s telling, like they trained it on cheesy soft-core pulp images or something. Or indeed most are expecting some kind of soft-core BS from AI so that’s what it’s providing…)
