You know me, I LOVE shipwrecks, I am a shipwreck fan (seriously if I wasn’t really shit with water and claustrophobia, I’d be down there diving on wrecks now). Add in the curious and definitely not placid nature of Lake Superior and my favourite mortician Caitlin Doughty, then you’re got a fascinating if rather morbid video.
Many people know about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald because of the Gordon Lightfoot song, here Caitlin meets one of the relatives of those that died on the infamous sinking, and answers the question raised in the song ‘does the Lake indeed not give up it’s dead?’
And for a bonus, a famous set of WW2 shipwrecks, and I know what happened with the dead there…
