A bonkers mashup of tune of the moment – Baccara’s excellent Yes Sir I Can Boogie via the Scotland win against Serbia – with Fred Durst and Andreas Bocelli by Irish mashup artist ah! Either of the last two would usually consign a mashup or anything they were in to the dustbin, but this has real cheesy camp brilliance.
Anything with Baccara usually gets my vote, it is a Duckie favourite who are reaching their 25th anniversary and doing a virtual party this Saturday…I have tickets! And given that it has become the Scottish anthem and I think one of the Readers Wifes is from that part of the world, I can guarantee it getting played!
Also given their lack of success in the US, it tends to be ignored this was the best-selling single of all-time by a female group, It was massive in Europe and around the world, but not a big success in the US.

As an aside I see ah! has rebooted the bastard pop classic S Clubbed To Death originally by Pop Bastard – nice to hear in better quality! It was from 2003 or earlier not 2008 though, I know that cos I was DJ-ing it and putting it on my MutantPop compilations in Jan 2004.
