Sometimes I feel terminally behind, and that follows with the news that 13 years after the last one, there’s a new ANOHNI And The Johnsons album that was released a few days ago. And judging by the single ‘It Must Change’ released in May, it’s a good one.
So many feels from that track alone, and as I commented on the latest podcast the more outre experimental ANOHNI tracks tell to leave me cold, so glad they are back within the traditional sound and not off on some icy electronic atonal path like some of the last Hercules & Love Affair album which I struggled with. I totally get why, but sometimes radical messages have to have a spoonful of sugar on top to get through.

Just getting to grips with the album, but certainly that song and Silver of Ice are standouts so far.
