RC 306: The First Pride Was a Riot And Other Stories

Just over a week ago was the 50th anniversary of the riot at Stonewall Inn, and today is London Pride, so the first half is a queer collection of revolutionary songs, from trans hardcore punk to dragapella, werk a pose to some acid banji realness and pansexual pop, and some folk tunes from the fabulous front lines.

The rest of the episode is revolution to evolution – state of this disgraced nation to what is happening over the pond, to a radical knees-up. Party music for the barricades from hip hop to rave, drum and bass, jungle, indie, electronica/IDM, blissed out yacht funk and ambience.
