Forever being behind the curve, I somehow missed that the rest of Super Furry Animals bar Gruff Rhys had reformed a few years ago as Das Koolies. Looks like Gruff Rhys is focusing on his solo stuff? Das Koolies was a side-project of Super Furries that never happened in the early days – there was always techno stuffs going on in the edges, so this makes total sense.
Latest single is with another Rhys – Rhys Ifans who was an early member of SFA, and it’s a bonkers psych banger. Love the video by Edwin Burdis/Dah Dit Dit also. I think I have some music to check out….like the recent Condemned EP where this excellent yet spooky video. And the debut album DK 01 out in September.
Although I recognise that Media Offline message, someone uses Davinci Resolve!
