Went to see Super Furry Animals tonight, it was great, but before a very emotional ‘Fire In My Heart’ Gruff Rhys spoke about the current situation in the UK, with the Tories being re-elected. He said ‘Let’s get angry. 5 years of angry’ to cheers. They later did an appropriately angry ‘Man Don’t Give A Fuck’ encore, with mad acid interval and then returned wearing Yeti costumes.
Elsewhere some super furious animals were having a different sort of party – myself and Ian Fondue saw the police vans tearing down Aldwych and I joked ‘that’s started early?’…turns out a protest outside No. 10 got rather angry too. With good reason…5 more years of this shite. Get used to the image above, you’ll see more of that. Most of my friends are in shock; it’s just amazing that people will happily believe the lies and vote for a government that actually wants to harm people, and is actually worse than Labour in a recession – ‘there’s no money’ is not a joke anymore. The Tories have given it to their mates.

Coming back from the gig this came on after DJ Fistfuck – Little Box which seemed calming after (really the gig was really intense, a mix of rave/psych wig outs) and I know people have been posting the original of this track by Jarvis Cocker but I prefer the Kiki and Herb cover but it’s not on YouTube (it is on my podcast though at that link).
