Kinsey Sicks - April Sat On My Master's Face cover

Kinsey Sicks – April / Sound of Sirens

Checking back in with long-time podcast features Kinsey Sicks – back to the start in fact – and glad that they not only still going like a bad rash, they are doing some new videos for older tracks as well – April Sat On My Master’s Face, a dragapella parody of a renaissance tune by Thomas Morley but with…how can I say it, more autumnal colours *cough*

It’s very rude! And with added rude images which cannot be denied cos it’s art, babes.

Also more seriously, was this parody of Simon & Garfunkel’s Sound of Silence retitled Sound of Sirens, for COVID and Black Lives Matter and the general malaise of democracy recently.

I was explaining to John about Kinsey Sicks and how their music has a more serious political side (I played him Buy My Pride, a song that would LOVE a full recording and video, *cough* and still gets me right there, cos yes, we are so desperate for attention we allow rainbow capitalism to rain on our parades)
