One of the few good upsides of this pandemic is that creativity is going crazy in lockdown – even whole TV shows and films are being made from home (loving Mash Report which in some ways is better in lockdown, and Have I Got News For You is shaping up to be a great series after a few awkward stops and starts).
Musicians are no different, and Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day is going the YACHT route and doing a cover a week – interesting his love for 80’s pop, he’s covered Kids in America (what’s that Lawnmower Deth? 30 years too late? Yes!) but more originally this punk cover of Bangles classic Manic Monday with Miss Susanna Hoffs herself!
