We’ve gone out of time as this is either a delayed spring or early Summer podcast, talking about the rains of May but we not have the warmest day of the year! (Don’t worry it will shortly be on theme again, the shuffle weather of the British Summer will put paid to that).

From Cuban Happy Mondays covers to Queer Vegan Faroe Island Punk, Arabic disco & former Black Devotion to 10 year old drummers, and being haunted by the past to making art in a pandemic (indeed the cover is an ink painting I did in a deluge called ‘Shelter From The Rain’) – we have it all!

Also we remember the anniversary of George Floyd’s death and play music relating to Black Lives Matter (anti-racism wasn’t just for Summer 2020) and May Day, bittersweet songs of summer and start with our traditional Jungle Summer mix, which is also probably the last of the lockdown kitchen disco mixes.
