Not sure why baby gays (well under 40 is baby gay to me) want to replicate the 70’s clone look and see the period as some pre-AIDS valhalla to mine (it was far from paradise by all accounts). The song and video are about remembering our history and the queer spaces, the LGBTQ* venues that we are losing in high number – and I suspect we’ll see even more going after the ‘Rona Storm is over. Very on point.
