RC 307: Upside Down Under Stranger Things afoot with spooky music and dark vibes podcast cover art is a photo of the garden

RC 307: Upside Down Under

In which we are the Grand Mage of Oz (Music Level 20) and go to the Great Original Upside Down, Down Under with Australian music and songs, far too many Men At Work covers, Ed Sheeran rapping, funky 80’s soul, antipodean Pulp covers, an original accordion recording that became a Negativland track, a bit of Demis, sampled psych Library ambience, Brithop, metal kid’s tunes, revolution, some bad news and rude Boris cutups that sadly are only virtual.

Not a Kylie Mindflayer in sight, although given the evil wildlife in Oz who knows it might be lurking in the Outback like a Roeg film. It’s probably mild compared to their daddy sharks, crocs, snakes and spiders.,,Starcourt? At least you almost had it all.

I actually meant to talk about Stranger Things 3, hence the name, but didn’t so appropriately and mysteriously this podcast has no Stranger Things content….Never Ending Stooooooorryyyyyyy!!! oOhohohooOHOHoohoOHOOohooohhh…..

Yay! If you see a Brit called James out there, newly moved and with two small kids it’s my mate. Look after him.

And yes, I love Sia especially that album. Means a lot to me…and my mate who got the diagnosis. So oddly it all links.
