Oh the memories…TV even in the early 80’s when I skived off school and eating tins of Heinz Mushroom soup ‘to recuperate’, was still like this parody. I spent a lot of my youth watching Pebble Mill at One, the news with Richard Baker or Kenneth Kendall, strange programs for toddlers which are now cult faves (1pm!) and Schools TV and degree level Physics programs presented by bearded blokes with denim jackets with elbow patches on them. Well there was nothing else on, apart from cheap badly made Aussie fare like The frigging Sullivans or Flying Doctors…
