This seems a quite appropriate footnote for 2012, with the Mad World 8-bit cover and game deaths. It’s one of the best Boing Boing posts of 2011 and I missed it (this has been rectified – I’ve now worked out a way to integrate my LJ inc friends/group posts with Google Reader/RSS readers with LJProxy which before I was depending on a limited free feed aggregator syndicated into Livejournal which dropped certain posts – hence not seeing much of Boing Boing!). Seriously, being able to read all the posts together properly – revolutionary.
Anyway geekiness of RSS readers aside – this seems to sum up 2011 for me, I probably said this about 2010 sadly which again is being rectified – I do hope 2012 doesn’t take after it’s sibling…cos in parts it was quite shit. Other parts were great, but there seemed to be a lot of pain for me and those I love.
P.S. If you’re looking for a scrolling RSS reader on Android I recommend AtomaRSS…you’ll need to use a home launcher like Go Launcher Ex but if like me you upgraded to Gingerbread and got slow, slow, slow it mostly fixes that. ENOUGH WITH TEH GEEKINESS.
Tempted to do a 8-bit show for Radio Clash since everything sounds better in 8-bit!
