Neil Gaiman on Copyright

Every once in a while Open Rights Group which I support does something that really enforces why they need to exist – this interview from author Neil Gaiman about how ‘pirating’ his books actually increases sales (upto 3000%!) is one of them. Interesting how he sees it as a form of lending rather than something evil – not as an abstract thing but in the hard statistic of sales made through bookshops…I wish the likes of Rastamouse Company and others understood this – we are advertising your products and playing with them, not cannibalising them. Get with the 21st century!
