Old School 90's rave happy hardcore tutorial

Creating a 90’s rave track from scratch

Love this tutorial from Jonas on how to make 1990’s rave ( happy hardcore breakbeat – think Prodigy, early Acen etc) – loads of memories.
And the advice is totally correct – Akai samplers or similar, M1, analogue synths lying about, chord stabs, Amen breaks, random drum loops from odd sources, alarms., female diva, random rap vocal- it’s all there! And piano chords? HANDS IN THE AIR! Nostalgia at 100% indeed. I miss pianos in house music….

Incidentally I DID have access to a MS-20 and a Wasp in the early 90’s, cos the art college had one…and a Roland Juno 2 and Roland 707,

The studio was basically a 90’s dance magnet, was it designed by Liam Howlett?

And for a bonius, he did a 90’s Jungle/D n’ B one as well!
