Another Xmas tradition in the UK – a Christmas song telling Boris Johnson to get into the sea (unless it’s closed, eh Dominic Raab?) and trying to get to Xmas #1 with a sweary song, a la Rage.
So this year’s best Xmas tune goes to Kunt and the Gang (again… and very rude and NSFW obviously). Love the video! Even some appropriately disconcerting Wizzard/Glitter/KLF glam vibes for total festive trolling, although weirdly I hear it more as Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus with sirens. Also apparently KLF approved.
Last year the original track got to #5 and was the 2nd biggest Xmas song that year and the 20th best selling single of 2020 and that’s with a total media and press ban! So stream or buy this from the 17th to the 23rd and let’s send a message to Boris Johnson and his media cronies. More here.
