Oh I missed the date but Woody Guthrie would have been 100 on the 14th. Just been listening to the Woody at 100 documentary and it brings in stark relief how little has changed (especially with bankers and poverty) since Woody’s day. Check out this amazing version by Sharon King & The Dap Kings of ‘This Land is Your Land’ which I love most of all for these verses – these are the original words:
