Jah Humbug: Christmas goes Dubstep!

Firstly we have Frogs chorus given a sort of dubstep/two-step/drum and bass work over by siCKNOTe called ‘The Frog’s Bollocks’. It’s a cover. I think. It’s frankly undescribable…but I heartily approve the silliness and frankly weird Xmas song terrorism like this:

And then we have Santa getting down to the bass, in a dubstep Xmas track. I didn’t really expect THAT crossover:

A quick search reveals thiat there are many dubstep versions of Xmas faves – who’d have thunk? So here’s a dubstep version of the Snowman, a track most molested (just like the choirboys, hohoho) in it’s time by the likes of FSOL under their Stakker/Humanoid guise. I like this version though:

And then we have a dubstep remix of ‘I Believe in Father Christmas’ by Greg Lake. Yup the L out of ELP (I’d say Hell out of ELP but they all were). Is this progstep? Check out that bassline I’m telling ya, I don’t think they are entirely serious, gladly:

Oh and I raise you Sir Cliff going dubstep by someone called Mudstep. Yes Mistletoe and Wine goes dubstep – works, scarily. SICK and I also mean in the original sense!

Jingle Dub anyone? This is so WRONG I love it.

Who says Xmases can’t have big fuck off dirty basslines?
