Yesterday, no The Night Before, well actually 10 years ago almost to the Day (In The Life) we said Hello Goodbye to the 7th show, but it's time to Get Back to Number Eight. Number Eight, Number Eight Days A Week! I was trying to troll EMI! I would say the pisstakes are affectionate but that wouldn't be exactly true, I've grown to like them more since but I still don't like the omnipresence of their work, although a lot of that has died away...The music and iconography as a idolised thing/untouchable idea/cultural concept are different things, the latter are quite troubling, even if the music is good. It's wise to respect the talent of the former and disrespect the latter, which most mashups and remixes do quite dramatically and funnily. Which is odd, because I love the covers in this edition unequivocally.
