The First Kodiak Moment

Given mashup history is in vogue, I thought I’d post my back catalogue up on Bandcamp for the first time in a high quality format. First up is the promo CD I made just before I played Bootie in 2004, Kodiak Moment, all from the lossless files I used back then. It is a mix of best-of tracks by Instamatic, DJNoNo, and tbc, Artwork is by Pheugoo.

This will be first in a series of album releases of my old work in new quality. I can’t guarantee all tracks in the series will be sourced similarly from lossless files – a few HD crashes meant that I don’t have the source files for a few of the tracks – but most will, especially post 2004/5.

But I am going to see if I can open up the old files via Virtual Box emulation in Acid 7 – wish me luck! I did that with some Ableton files locally and found that because I switched from PC to Mac a lot of the plugins won’t work and can’t be got for Mac. Boo!
