Poppy – All The Things She Said

What IS it with new music and now? There’s a deluge of good music, I assume either planned for later in the year or cos of COVID-19 the fruitions of lockdown.

Poppy’s t.A.T.u cover was meant for Pride – she is gender questioning – but also as she says in the dooblydoo it has other meanings now, there are bigger things to fight. Our resistance as queer brethren becomes a wider fight for ALL queer people – and that included our black/POC family, it intersects.

Also I guess this marks the final rehabilitation of t.A.T.u’s music, given the fact it was all a massive problematic pinkbaiting stunt run by men doing the lesbian titillation thing for profit. That said, always loved this song.
