How Star Wars Was Saved

Everyone knows how George Lucas goes back and tinkers with Star Wars, ad infinitum (I remember watching the pre-CGI versions just before he re-released them the first time, those versions are almost impossible to find officially now). What they don’t know is that Star Wars almost flopped because of the story and structure, a lot of the film was created in the edit. This fascinating video goes through some of the bits that was lost (RIP Biggs, also RIP Jabba, but Lucas put that bit back in probably because later parts don’t completely make sense without him).
