Really good mashup article from Pitchfork from a self-confessed mash-fan, William Bowers. Nice to see a new mashup artist like Aggro1 get name checked, some good mentioned in there (I must play that Eve boot sometime soon, it’s one of my faves too) and interesting he’s touched on very briefly the queer/gender-fuck side of mashups…

Summer (well Spring) of 76: new Bastard!
OK Bastard 76 has been announced and it’s a corker – classic mashup artist Freelance Hellraiser (Roy!) is playing, along with DJs Diabolique and of course the Cartel guys.
