So you’re shooting a video for a Doctor Who themed disco track in 1979 for Welsh TV (seemingly). What do you do?
Well you take four dancers in spandex and get them to dance at a cold and grey Cardiff Airport, with shots of aircraft taking off and air traffic control of course!
I knew of the track – even played it on Radio Clash but never knew it had a video of sorts. The video is as strange as the track. Shame I don’t speak Welsh for the interview bit. (via Dunproofin)
And here they are doing it on Top of the Pops. Who said UK disco wasnt glamorous?
Dry ice set to stun and they actually use the Doctor Who Time Vortex in the speaky bit (and LOL at the dancing skinhead at the front, is he lost from the famous Two-Tone TOTP episode?)
