To celebrate today’s release of the new Depeche Mode album, Memento Mori, there’s a video for my ABBAstard track Ghosts of Fernando! Black and white moody-tastic! Actually the two videos mesh quite well, with the older Depeche Mode meeting like the characters in the revolutionary Mexican story, to play chess. Also there’s a Ingmar Bergman referenced in the Depeche Mode video, which reflects the Swedish dark nature of ABBA. As always with new videos, I’ve uploaded it to the Internet Archive as well for posterity.
