Petrol Hoers came into my life (fnar) last night through the odd means of 6Music (playing silly horse themed crumpltastic punky speed/breakcore? Really?). I’ve been through the whole of his equine oevre (err, horses don’t lay eggs, neither do humans I guess…) and this is my favourite still from the latest album.
As Petrol Hoers says on the live ‘albom’ it’s about horse masturbation/having a horse dick…even more surprising it was played on 6Music. Daytime playlist then!
What is it about musicians and horses, well from My Lovely Horse to Horse Meat Disco, Disco Horse to Horsepower , Crazy Horses to Horseburgers, Wild Horses to White Horses….I sense a theme coming on like a wyld stallion, or has that pony bolted?
Love this one too, I guess recently mainlining Shibuya-kei, gay black metal and J-Pop breakbeat idol music has broken my brain somewhat. Neigh!
