Most briefings go like this

I’ve had SO many briefs like this video from Danny Capozzi – they forgot the two I hate the most: ‘can you make it POP?’ (WTF does that EVEN mean?) and ‘Be creative’ which always means the exact opposite. It means ‘we know what we want but won’t tell you, so work hard on showing us something different so we can reject them and then put in our ideas to “save” it’. Really funny video though, a lot of work, physical real-world animation as well as the CGI and stop-frame you’d expect from Aardman – I guess this is an advert for them, but a good one.
