A highlight of every year is legend Greg Wilson’s selection of his favourite re-edits, reworks and remixes, and the 2016 mix doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been following Late Nite Tuff Guy for years, including his music in podcasts and mixes, but Dr Parker is new to me, and love his New Order, Donna Summer and Barry White remixes.
Also as a Chic fan I’m all over Chewy Rubs – Future Freak, Peza’s Filmed Message and The Clash (Dominic Dawson Rework) which really to my ears are m*sh*ps but cool people don’t use that word now, sadly. Massimo Vanoni – I See You (Fingerman Edit) is ace, and like the Sparky remix that I’m still trying to track down from last year, I suspect the Can – I Want More (Twin Sun Edit) will be similarly hard to find.
