And after the Jay-Z mashup, what randomly came around was this beauty. Some songs I collect all covers and mashups of – for instance covers, remixes and mashups of Fleetwood Mac, or ABBA metal covers.
Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy is one of those songs I’ve never tired of, it means a lot to me and even the TEEMID & Joie Tan cover appears in the latest mix, and despite the hot mess of Cee-Lo in recent years it even survives that.
So of course I love this cover by Daniela Andrade, here remixed by LocLDJ. I don’t know what you’d call it? Folk trap? But it’s nice to hear a new moody spin on this for 2016. Free downloads on Soundcloud above or you can download it as ‘name your price’ over at Bandcamp.
