Via Ian Fondue posting the video of Art vs Science’s fascinating psych/funk version of Enter Sandman by the (below) which mixes vocoder with great psych guitar, I started listening to Triple J’s Like A Version, and found this fascinating trip hop cover version of Bitter Sweet Symphony by E^ST above…with a wonderful surprise at the end which I won’t spoil. 😉

Also very psych and currently very popular, Tame Impala take my favourite (indie) Kylie song ‘Confide In Me’ for a spin. Psykylie? Makes perfect sense…

Also digging this baggy/indie rock cover of The Orb’s Little Fluffy Clouds by Dinowalrus as posted by Jez Biggs – a few years old but love how they turned the spoken word into a vocal, and the guitar work is great (apparently this is Kurt Vile’s guitarist?). I found a download of it over here.

And back to Triple J – is baggy massive over there or something? Here’s a baggy indie rock cover of Fat Boy Slim’s ‘Praise You’ by The Belligerents – like the live vocal sampling on this one.

And we’re only here to make you GO! Jebediah does Chemical Brothers, and very funkily, love that bassline.
