This has been doing the rounds but I think it’s worth repeating here. I’ve heard a lot of crap about the Quran being ‘violent’ and Islam being the religion of violence from supposed Christians, people that like a lot of Muslims (including funnily those foot soldiers in Iraq and ISIL/Daesh) don’t know their own books.
The Bible like the Koran is full of evil, violent, terrible things – stonings and killings, genocide, torture and murder…but these people conveniently ignore that to score points, or say ‘well we don’t believe those things anymore’ without realising the irony that many Muslims do the same. The only difference is Christianity has mostly gone through a reformation, but the likes of WBC, KKK or this wonderful pastor who I pray dies horribly would love to bring that horror back.
