With the spate of school and children shootings, Everything Everything’s critical view of modern life and alienation gains a new perspective, with children as young as 3, 5 or 11 killing their siblings in gun accidents.

And still no gun control! As Doug Stanhope raved tonight in great form – look after the crazies, look after the mentally ill…otherwise they do stuff like this. But it’s still a fraction of the real figure.

It’s a strange world that we have gay marriage in the States before gun control, but I severely doubt anything will be done about it in my lifetime. Too many people arguing pedantically over statistics, blaming liberal-pinko-fag-commies and proudly wearing their tin-foil hats, thinking that assault weapons are a good match for tanks, nukes and gunships (pro-tip: they aint) or more importantly just doing absolutely nothing to change it.

They simply don’t care.
