Mogwai have scored the soundtrack to a documentary ‘Atomic – Living In Dread And Promise’ by Mark Cousins about atomic energy and nuclear weapons, and you can see the trailer above. It’s part of a series commememorating the 70th anniverary of Hiroshima. Looks and sounds amazing, and I’m sure it will be eye-opening for those who didn’t live through the Cold War and the promise of mutally assured destruction.
The documentary will be shown this coming weekend, on Saturday on BBC2 Scotland and Sunday on BBC4. (via Ian Lloyd)
