So soon after the death of Ian Allen, Don Joyce of Negativland died yesterday. He joined Negativland in the early 1980’s and also ran the KPFA ‘Over The Edge’ show for three decades. One of the many shows were the Time Zones project – a fascination of radio, Time Zones and the elusive C.E. Friday (played by Don Joyce), of which you can hear an early version of from ‘Escape from Noise’ which Don performed on.
He was also Crosley Bendix, here from their 1989 movie:
