RIP Erroll Brown

An ever-present force in the 1970’s, redeemed by Full Monty, but way before that I always loved You Sexy Thing. But not many know their first record was on Apple, a reggae cover of Give Peace A Chance that John Lennon liked. Sadly Erroll Brown died of cancer yesterday.

On the eve of the election, it’s spoken word ‘Everybody talking about jewish and arabic, irish and catholic, militant and immigrant, dem all human you say sah, dem all man…childish…childish. Peace brother, peace.’ is very appropriate.
