Although ironically she was more about the ladies, she was an out lesbian and an activist for LGBTQ rights…she was with her partner Lois Sasson for 33 years.
And I forgot this wonderful lipsynch for a good cause – yes You Don’t Own Me is a feminist anthem, even if it was written by two blokes! It has a message from Lesley herself.
