Probably the strangest Boiler Room act you’ll ever see (the audience are usually weirder though) – Anklepants, the Australian musician, artist and prosthetics and animatronics genius creates the sort of uber-freaky party that shows how staid all the other Boiler Room performances are. He’s a sort of horror techno clown, a Jake And Dinos Chapman sculpture come to to life, with a moving dildo for a nose, and what most people call weird isn’t even close in the art world I find…. I love the Sterling Void quote too.
This is more house/EDM, but other tunes/performances seem to be more circuit-bending, breakcore or experimental, like if Otto Von Schirach, Chaos A.D. and Shitmat had a particularly ugly baby:
