The Man Who Took A Lobster for a Walk: Status Anxiety

Watched all 6 episodes of Philosophy of Happiness series by Alain de Botton and the documentary Status Anxiety (which unlike the others seems to accessible in the UK).

I really recommend them, especially the latter which includes Native Americans, Televangelist, The Theory of the Leisure Class, duels, Orwell, John Ruskin, naturists, Marx, members of Crass, memento mori, slaves carrying skeletons around parties in Ancient Egypt and the man who took a pet lobster* for a walk with a blue leash in Paris, Gérard de Nerval.

Talking of lobsters, I see that the Lobster Liberation Front has two new members. Good work men!

(* The lobster was called Thibault, btw, more details about this – looks like he might have also been part of the Lobster Liberation Front. Vive la revolution!).
