RC 250: Make Mine A 89-99 – 9th Year Anniversary Show

Hope you like the cover, it was quite hard to design badly, and break all the rules…must….not…correct!

Yes Radio Clash is 9…number 9…number 9…years old as of last week, and I go Back to the 90’s (ALL the 9’s – 89-99!).

A paean to covermount CDs and cassettes, and to Deep Heat, Thin Ice, Right Stuff compilations, where shirts were Global Hypercolor, the posters were Magic Eye (Complaints, mostly), the record covers looked like a freshly trained intern had just discovered the DTP type stretch function, and the music was a mix of skippety-skippety house, italo house, r&b, balearic, rave, big beat, hardbag, speed garage, indie, britpop, power pop, trip hop, early trance and IDM. And anyone who knows me. Even the Xmas Rave Battle for #1 gets a look in!
