Late on this because tbh I don’t really dip my head into the cess pool of PR releases that often, but for once I find something that makes me really glad: at the start of May Light Asylum one of my favourite bands from last year is finally releasing their debut LP. I love Shannon Funchess’s vocals – she has one of the best and most distinctive voices IMO and their In-Tension EP didn’t leave my iPod for a very long time, and featured in my Dark Electro mix.
Here’s Genesis, a new track which continues that dark vibe into even more filmic territory, the …also they’re giving away a track called IPC, which is less brooding and more like Skullfuct and their EP tracks…great message, although the title makes me wonder if it’s a barb at the NME 😉
