I’ve long said that no-one has created a good Joy Division mashup – there’s been a few close calls on that, but nothing that really works…and as a MAHOOSIVE fan of Joy Division and New Order I’m probably more critical than most – until now.
Oki is doing a project called ‘DIVas of Joy Division’ mixing female vocals with Joy Division – and I liked the result so much I asked to do a video for his Paramore – ‘CrushCrushCrush’ vs Joy Division ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ I was so taken with it. Check out the others – I think the Britney and the Katy Perry tracks also work really well.
