How many tunes are based on Pachelbel’s Canon? About 9000, apparently 😉

Yes it’s the ever-wonderful The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, with their party piece pointing out how many songs rip of Pachelbel’s Canon in D. Handel – it’s all early music to me! 😛

    Not to be a pedant, but..

    OK, wait. YES, yes I AM being a pedant.

    But I must point out that the first video doesn’t actually have anything to do with the Pachelbel canon, vile though that is. It’s just a basic circle-of-fifths progression.

    Yes I realised this after posting – in fact some kind pedant point it out – it’s Handel not Pachelbel.

    It’s all early music to me 😉
