Hello Tim. Just in the case you care and if it hasn’t come to you as yet, what’s mixed with Peter Gabriel in Big Eyes is Plaid’s Eyen (was a bit in love with that song back in ’02 so I recognized it immediately.) By the way, I adore your podcast, I only just discovered Radio Clash last summer whilst searching blogs for New Order’s Haystack as I had never heard it before. I stumbled upon your ‘From Brussels With Love’ show and after first listen have been irrevocably smitten. I especially love the mashups and occasional film clips. I love your voice and sorry if it should irritate you to hear once again how you remind someone of John Peel (it’s a very high compliment though)! You’re really prompting me to start a podcast of my own. I’ve done some college radio shows (here in the great northwest of the states) in the past the most recent being last summer and I realized how I miss it to death! Well, sorry I’ve rambled long enough now (I do that) and it has dawned on me the comment area is allotted for comments most likely on the particular show and that the appropriate place where you’re told how wonderful you are etc. etc. would be email (so sorry). I just wanted to thank you for the revelry and the continuous acquainting with sometimes-ambiguous music. Keep it up!

Thanks! Glad you like the show…I should’ve recognised that track as I have that album, but usually what happens I rehear stuff and like it yet don’t always recognise it, but find out later I had heard it / had it!

New Order’s Haystack is a beautiful song, first heard it on a dodgy bootleg tape, weirdly some of those tunes haven’t popped up on the Net, too bad quality to play…
