Dope show! It helped get me through a retarded day editing texts for All Saints Day and All Souls Day. Thanks Tim!

    Hi there
Found this show whilst searching for a few things for a show very similar that I will be doing about post Star Wars influenced space records. Really enjoyed it, funny how these things coincide sometimes.

Hehehehe, DJ Knight, I like it. Another great show. Lots of fun analog synths.

The computer game version of “Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds” has a bunch of remixes on ’em…Pick up a copy (or drop me a line and we can arrange a xfer.)

Avoid the Jeff Wayne’s Spartacus, unless you’re a serious collector. I had been looking out for it for years ’cause I love War of the Worlds so much, and Spartacus is far less appealing. It has some good moments, but many bad moments.

An artist that I always think of whenever I hear Jeff Wayne’s work is a one-man band (out of Texas, I believe) called “Golgotha” that I found in the rejects bin at the local record store. Two records, “Unmaker of Worlds” and “Symphony in Extremis”. Both are surprisingly good and interesting, the artist must have spent hours and hours layering on vocal and music tracks. Somewhat “prog-rock”, a bit rough around the edges, but at least it’s not crap. Hehehehehh. Has that “epic tale” feel of War of the Worlds somehow. Or maybe I discovered Golgotha around the time I discovered Wayne. I don’t know.

Hey I don’t know if you’ve already finished “Part II” of Space Disco, but if you’re not and happen to feel like taking requests, that RIAA track Mechanical Robot Man is pretty fun . . .

Already played that track back in June: https://www.radioclash.com/archives/2007/06/03/rc-120/

I tend not to repeat stuff; or at least if I do it’s either part of a mix or usually played over a year ago….
