I’ve played a few cuts featured on the album on the podcast or rotation over at Radio Clash Live (btw you missed another Live x3 Radio Clash a few hours ago, still doing them every few weeks or so, but I always post up on the Facebook or Twitter beforehand so best watch upto or around 10pm UK Time) and I love DJ Yamin’s old funk/soul meets new beats ethic, it’s a bit electro-swing, a bit mashup, all funky.
Particularly like the Inell Young, Reuben Bell and Dr John tracks, and have plunked down money for The Gaturs, Allen Toussaint and the NOLA Bounce Triggatastic Wild Magnolias – Injuns remix.
