Just for this I might forgive him the horror, THE HORROR that was Warp Tate and OneohTrix’s ‘installation’. I waited over an hour for that…mostly inside that annoying Martin Creed installation, you know the one the Tate, Art Fund and others apparently spent about £110k buying*? Twas like drip torture…on…off…on…off.
All for something you could have wandered through in about a minute to get the jist of?
* they’ve remained rather schtum about the final price, but it’s valued at that, and interestingly while I waited in the darned thing, anti-BP activists were hassling Serota to confirm the price in the AGM above the chaos of Warp Tate, and Nick was refusing to say…chaos above and below, how apt for Tate.
