Charles Hanson Towne’s poem seems as pertinent in the digital world as the old one, everyone is so busy after they are 20 or 30 that indeed old friends get lost. This is adapted from the great Zen Pencils comic – I really recommend looking at Zen Pencils, I’m more into the ones based on poems or spoken word pieces rather than the inspirational quotes, because it’s introduced me to a few poems I didn’t know such as Constantine P. Cavafy’s Ithaka, Timothy Leary’s Admit it you aren’t like them, Roger Ebert on Kindness, Malala Yousafzai and Marc Maron on Social Media that has been doing the rounds. (via Paul Parkinson)
