Looking back to those we’ve lost

Love this tribute from TCM to the actors, directors, singers and creative people relating to the film industry we’ve lost in 2012 – great choice in music too (M83 – Wait). I think for me, Marvin Hamlisch, Hal David, Andy Williams, Andy Griffiths (for Face In The Crowd specifically), Larry Hagman, Nicol Williamson, Tony Scott, Gore Vidal especially and most recently Jack Klugman (who is too recent to be included here) are the big entertainment-related losses of 2012.

As the comments point out though, they missed Jerry Nelson, the puppeteer, and Donna Summer…who also were very sad and very surprising losses. (via Clifton Stubblefield)
